Security has been tightened up throughout the country especially in Uttar Pradesh. the Centre has taken adequate measures and deployed enough security forces all over the country to assist the state governments to maintain peace. In the twin city Ayodhya and Faizabad, about 74 companies of central Para military forces and state police have been deployed. Uttar Pradesh government has also pressed helicopters into service for keeping a close vigil on the roof-tops, narrow lanes and other places in the sensitive areas. A control room has also been set-up in Lucknow so that people can apprise police about any important or confidential information regarding untoward incidents. The Senior Police Superintendent of Police of Faizabad RK S Rathore told AIR Correspondent this afternoon that security personnel are placed in their full strength. He said that any unlawful activity will be dealt strictly .He told AIR there is no restriction of any movement but clarifies that if any unwanted elements found on streets would be detained if necessary. Meanwhile the Ayodhya’s district hospital is also been keep ready for any emergency requirements. According to Medical Superintendent of Government Hospital of Ayodhya Dr Nanak Saran that with ten Ambulances are ready and treatment could be provided to five hundred people at any given time.
