Punjab Police, Army and BSF continued their joint operation near Tibri Cantt in the fields of Pandher village of Gurdaspur district to nab suspected armed persons. Farmers had on Wednesday informed police that they saw 2 armed persons in military uniform in their sugarcane field. <br/><br/>Forces have laid a seige around a 15 acre sugarcane field by putting flood lights there. Airforce drone camera has also spotted movement in the fields. Help of dog squad is also being taken. Officials said, security forces are not taking any chance and aerial surveillance are also being maintained. Meanwhile, security has been tightened around religious places, markets, Railway Stations, Bus Stands and important establishments.
