In Bihar, security has been tightened across the state to prevent any untoward incident in view of the impending verdict on the Ayodhaya dispute title suit to be delivered on Thursday. AIR Patna correspondent reports that with the six-phase Assembly elections scheduled from October 21, the state government is taking no chance. All the district magistrates have been put on alert and asked to hold peace meetings with religious leaders. A core team of IAS and senior police officers have been formed to keep a close watch on the law and order situation and pass necessary orders to contain any flare up or rumours on religious lines.
