Security has been beefed up throughout the country especially in Uttar Pradesh. the Centre has taken adequate measures and deployed enough security forces all over the country to assist the state governments to maintain peace. In the twin city Ayodhya and Faizabad, about 74 companies of central Para military forces and state police have been deployed. Uttar Pradesh government has also pressed helicopters into service for keeping a close vigil on the roof-tops, narrow lanes and other places in the sensitive areas. A control room has also been set-up in Lucknow so that people can apprise police about any important or confidential information regarding untoward incidents.
