<span style="color: #222222;">Security situation in the North Eastern States has improved substantially as the number of insurgency incidents reduced by 74 per cent last year in comparison to 2014. 89 per cent reduction has been witnessed in civilian deaths and 60 per cent in casualties of security forces in the year 2021. This was stated by the Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha today.<br />''<br />'' The Minister said, over six thousand cadres of various insurgents groups of North Eastern States have surrendered since 2014 till 15th of last month.</span><br />
