Security is fundamental right of every citizen, says VP Ansari

Vice President Hamid Ansari has said that security, without any consideration of caste creed, region and religion, is fundamental right of every citizen as it breeds a strong sense of citizenship in them. Addressing a 'Qaumi Ekta' gathering in Hardoi of Uttar Pradesh,? Vice President said that the Indian Constitution is sort of a religious book for all of the countrymen which provides equality and freedom to all alike. <br/><br/>It also guarantees life with security to its citizens which is necessary for the growth of the country, he said. It is the duty of the state to protect and secure the life of every citizen, he said. Being Indian is itself a 'Qaum' which is above all, Ansari said. <br/><br/>On this occasion UP governor Ram Naik also addressed the gathering and said that India's ethos is based on 'Vasudhaiv Kutumbukam', the whole world is our home. Samajwadi Party general secretary Naresh Agrawal also addressed the people on this occasion.
