Security intensified in UP ahead of Ayodhya verdict

In Uttar Pradesh, security has been intensified and intelligence agencies alerted across the state in view of the pronouncement of verdict by the Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court on Ayodhya title suite on Thursday. Chief Minister Mayawati reviewed the law and order situation and arrangements are being made to maintain peace in the state after pronouncement of the verdict. She directed officials to deal strictly with anti social and communal elements.The Cabinet Secretary of the state Shashank Shekhar Singh told media persons at Lucknow on Tuesday evening that law enforcing agencies are directed to keep eyes on all historical, religious and social building and monuments. Security in and around Allahabad High Court and its Lucknow bench has been intensified.Security forces conducted flag march in different district including Ayodhya and Faizabad to instill sense of security among common men. Centre has provided about 54 companies of central Para military to the state for security purposes.
