In Assam, security has been intensified at Dhubri and Gauripur area to avert any disturbance. Curfew had been relaxed on Friday for seven hours from 9 am at Dhubri Police station area.But the district administration re-clamped the curfew as a precautionary measure from 4 pm. The Deputy Commissioner of Dhubri, Kumud Chandra Kalita said that elaborate security arrangements have been put in place.AIR Correspondent reports, two columns of army are staging flag march. Two additional companies of CRPF and one company of Rapid Action Force have also been pressed into service.State Law and Order’s Additional Director General of Police will reach Dhubri to take stock of the situation.District administration has met the members of peace committee and urged them to take confidence building measures.Security forces have arrested 11 miscreants so far in connection with violence related activities.Security forces have been instructed to take Stern action against whose who involved in violence activities.
