Security heads of 31 nations take stock of CWG security

Security heads of 31 countries, including Pakistan, participating in the Commonwealth Games on Thursday inspected security arrangements at the Games village and the main sporting venue Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Delhi Police Commissioner Y S Dadwal accompanied the officials and briefed them about the arrangements for the Games, the venues of which will have a four-layered security ring. Over 10,000 athletes from 71 countries and 500,000 spectators are expected to take part in the Games to be held from 3rd to 14th of October in the national capital.
