Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police S P Vaid has said, there was perfect synergy among the various security forces in tackling terrorism and maintaining law and order in the valley. Speaking at a function in Srinagar today, he also assured that mechanisms were in place to tackle misuse of social media by anti-national and anti-social elements, and to keep in check radicalisation of the youth. <br/><br/>The DGP said, the Unified Command Structure, under the chairpersonship of the chief minister, has proved to be very beneficial for cooperation among the police, the Central Armed Police Forces, CAPF and the Army. Mr Vaid also highlighted the initiatives taken by the Jammu and Kashimr Police for maintaining law and order and better police-people relations. The DGP was speaking at an interaction between senior state police officers and the CRPF's 48th batch of trainee officers at the police headquarters.
