In Jammu and Kashmir Security Forces and Police yesterday thwarted a terrorists plot to carry out terror strikes by effecting recovery of grenades and rockets from the hideout of terrorists during a joint search operation in Surankote area of Poonch district. The recoveries include one UBGL gun, one UBGL Cell, five rockets, seven Chinese grenades and 53 AK rounds. In another similar operation, joint party averted a major tragedy by their timely recovery of arms and ammunition from the hideout of terrorists from Gursai area of Mendhar in Poonch district. The recoveries include one Anti-tank missile, five anti-tank rifle grenades, two AGL Grenades, two AGL Charger grenades, four IEDs, two Chinese pistols, 819 AK rounds, seven AK magazines, two wireless sets, two IED boosters, One Chinese grenade, seven explosive rods etc. Both these hide-outs belonged to Pro-Pak militant outfit Hizbul Mujahideen. <br/>Recovery of arms like anti tank missiles, rocket launchers and high frequency radio sets indicates that some top commanders of Hizbul Mujahideen were hiding in the area plotting a major terror attack.<br/>
