In Assam, security forces recovered a powerful IED bomb at Sonari in Sivsagar district today. Official sources said that, acting on a tip-off, security forces recovered the bomb from the backyard of a person’s house. The IED, weighing more than 4 kilograms, was later defused by the army's bomb disposal squad. Further investigation is going on to nab the culprit.
