In Jammu and Kashmir, busting a major Lashkar-e-Toiba militant outfit’s hideout in Kishtwar district, Security Forces today recovered a huge quantity of arms and ammunition including 75 kilograms of explosives and 6 LeT marked IEDs. <br/><br/>Acting on a tip off, the troops of 11 Rashtriya Rifles and Police launched a search operation in the Nalkote forests of Singhpura, Chatroo area of the district and busted the hideout reportedly used by Lashkar-e-Toiba militant outfit for its terror activities in the area. <br/><br/>The recoveries include two bags containing explosives weighing 75 kilograms, six LeT marked IEDs, one tin based IED, 19 UBGL, four foreign made grenades, twenty five Gelatine Explosive Sticks, one rifle and some miscellaneous items. <br/><br/>Describing this huge of quantity of explosives as an unprecedented recovery in the area, the DIG Doda-Kishtwar-Ramban Range, Mr. Manik Kumar Sinha told AIR that with this Police and Security Forces have successfully foiled the nefarious designs of Lashkar-e-Toiba and its mentors.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, in another operation, Rashtriya Rifles recovered a cache including one RPG Shell, 161 rounds of ammunition , two Chinese grenades, one matrix sheet, eight Gelatin Sticks, 10 metres safety fuse, seven detonators and some miscellaneous items from Banola forest in Poonch district yesterday.
