In Jammu and Kashmir, , security forces today gunned down a Jesh-e-Mohammed militant in Poonch district during an encounter . An army Jawan has also injured in the gunbattle. The encounter started when during a search operation launched in a Khoo-Mohalla village of Bhatti Dhaar area in Mendhar Tehsil of this border district, the militants hiding in a house opened fire on the troops. The encounter was going on when the reports last came in.
