Two naxals including a woman naxal have been killed in the encounter between the police forces and naxal in the Arki forest under Kharsawan and Khunti districts of Jharkhand that ended today afternoon. One killed naxal has been identified as Masih Charan while the dead body of women could not been identified. Two women naxals have also been arrested in the operation. Speaking to our correspondent, the DIG of Jharkhand police Arun Oran said that although the most wanted naxal zonal commander Kundan Pahan escaped, police has pressed more than 2000 force in search operation and the service of dog-squad is also being obtained to arrest the top naxal leaders that managed to escape in more than 10 hours long encounter. Police has also recovered 40 detonators, naxal literature and food grains in large quantities.
