In Manipur, three militants have been killed in two different encounters with police and security forces. Police sources said, one militant has been killed at around 4:30 hours this morning in an encounter at Heibongpkpi under Lamshang Police Station in Imphal. In another encounter, a combined team of Manipur Police and Sikh Regiment of the Indian Army killed two militants on Thursday night. The incident took place at Taobungkhok under Patsoi Police Station in Imphal. The Police have recovered two pistols and three hand grenades from the spot.
