In Jammu and Kashmir, security forces killed a militant in an encounter in Khazanbal village near Tangmarg in southern part of the valley. A special police officer and a soldier also injured in the encounter.<br/>Police said the gun battle, which began on Wednesday evening with militants opening fire on security forces, is continuing and it is believed that more militants are hiding in the area. <br/>
