In Pakistan, 18 militants have been killed and six others apprehended during operation by security forces in Tehsil Bara of Khyber Agency. Official sources said search operation is continuing in different areas of and a number of hideouts and twelve vehicles of the militants were destroyed. In Aurakzai Agency, seven militants were killed when gunship helicopters targeted their hideouts. Assisted by the gunship helicopters the forces are using heavy artillery and mortars to target the militants' positions. In Bajour Agency, four militants have been killed and several others injured in a clash with the security forces in Khaar.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, two persons were killed and four injured when a mortar shell fell on a house in a village area in Khaar. The Agency administration has imposed curfew for an indefinite period in Khaar and adjoining areas.<br/>
