Security forces intensifies vigil in UP ahead of Ayodhya verdict?

In Uttar Pradesh police patrolling has been intensified and flag march by security forces is taking place continuously in sensitive districts and towns in view of the crucial court verdict on Ayodhya on 24th of this month. AIR Lucknow correspondent reports a prohibitory order under Section 144 has been promulgated in all the districts and processions and public meetings have been banned with immediate effect. Government has instructed officials for strictly enforcing prohibitory orders in all districts. The Director General of State Police Karamveer Singh has reviewed the security arrangements being made at sensitive districts including Allahabad, Varanasi, Faizabad and state capital Lucknow. He also discussed the security at Allahabad High Court. Security has been strengthen in and around the Allahabad High Court and its Lucknow Bench and entry is allowed only on furnishing a valid identity proof even by Advocates and their staff. More than 10 companies of additional central forces along with bomb disposal squad and RAF along with large contingent of state police have been deployed in both the Lucknow and Allahabad High court premises. The security in and around the disputed complex and makeshift temple complex in Ayodhya and Faizabad town has been stepped up. Barriers were erected on the borders of the district and close watch was being maintained on the suspected visitors and rumour-mongers. The Centre has rushed over 50 companies of central forces to the state.
