In Assam, security forces gunned down a most wanted Bodo terrorist B Jablang in Kokrajhar district on Saturday. Inspector General of Police, L R Bishnoi said that he was the platoon commander of National Democratic Front of Bodoland- Songbijit faction in Kokrajhar district.

Bishnoi said that a joint team of police and SSB launched operation at Kaushibazar area under Serfanguri police station. He was involved in recent massacre in Kokrajhar district.

Security forces also recovered arms from the slain top terrorist. In another incident, a joint team of police and CRPF nabbed two hardcore terrorist of National Democratic Front of Bodoland- Songbijit faction from Kolabari area in Kokrajahr district.
