In Punjab, two terrorists were shot dead in an encounter with police in Gurdaspur on Sunday morning. Two police personnel, including a Head Constable and one Home Guard also lost their lives.<br/><br/>The Additional Director General of Police, Law & Order, Punjab, Mr. J.P. Virdi told AIR Jalandhar Correspondent Rajesh Bali that the encounter which started at 6.00 AM in Narot Jaimal Singh area of the border district of Gurdaspur, lasted for more than two hours.<br/><br/>Two AK-47 rifles and some hand Grenades along with some other ammunition have been recovered from the encounter site. He said, two constables of Punjab Police have also been injured during the encounter. The area has been cordoned off and search operations are on.
