In Afghanistan, security forces have captured a Taliban key commander in Wardak province, 35 km west of capital Kabul. A spokesman of the provincial administration said, security forces raided a Taliban hideout at Syed Khil village in Syedabad district early this morning and captured a Taliban key commander, Mullah Nasir. A laptop computer, several arms and ammunitions were also seized during the operation. The arrested commander was the key Taliban figure in Wardak province and his arrest would help improve security there, the spokesman emphasized.
