Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said security and counter terrorism cooperation is necessary to safeguard the lives of citizens. <br/>Chairing BRICS Leaders Plenary Meeting in Goa this afternoon, Mr Modi said response to terror must be nothing less than comprehensive, and there is need to act both individually and collectively. <br/> <br/>He said the footprint of intra-BRICS engagement has expanded to include large areas of economic activity.<br/><br/>He emphasised the need to build norms, create structure to stop tax invasion, black money and stop corruption. <br/><br/>He said the work on setting up BRICS agricultural research centre, railway research network and BRICS Sports council must be sped up. <br/><br/>He said India looks forward to translate into reality the idea of BRICS credit rating agency.
