In Uttar Pradesh after recent massacre in Bihar and West Bengal by Maoists security forces have intensified patrolling in the bordering areas of three districts of Sonbhadra, Chandauli and Mirzapur for preventing the entry of any Maoist in the state. Quoting official sources our Lucknow correspondent reports that Police and Para military forces have stepped up their security arrangement to foil any evil design of the banned outfit in the state.<br/><br/>In the three Naxal-affected districts of the state Sonebhandra, Chandauli and Mirzapur 600 jawans of CRPF and 1300 of PAC besides the civil police are maintaining strict vigil. Patrolling has been intensified in the bordering areas with strengthening of intelligence inputs. The special task force of state police had recently arrested 8 members of banned Communist Party of India Maoist including in charge of Northern Region of Maoist organisation from Kanpur. Five of them are from Bihar. After taking them under police remand police is trying to abolish their net work in the state. Authorities are also trying to identify persons who have given support to members of banned out fit. Police and civil authorities are also in touch with the neighbouring states of Bihar, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh in sharing the intelligence input over the Maoist activity.
