In Kerala, the police have stepped up security measures in Kochi following intelligence reports that Indian Mujahideen is planning a terrorist attack on the city within the next few days. The city has been put on high alert and security measures have been tightened at all strategic locations. AIR correspondent reports, the Police are checking vehicles at all entry points to the city and are keeping a close watch on lodges, airport, railway stations and bus stands. Coastal security has also been beefed up in coordination with the Navy and the Coast Guard. The Indian Mujahideen's attack plan came to light following the interrogation of one of its activist Salman Ahmed, who was arrested in UP recently.
