In Jharkhand, security has been tightened following CPI (Maoist)'s 24-hour state-wide bandh today in protest against anti-encroachment drive at various places in the state. Police sources said in Latehar that patrolling would be stepped up at strategic places and railway tracks to prevent any untoward incident.
