Secretary of Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances, V. Srinivas delivers lecture on 'New Paradigms in Governance from 2019 to 2024',

<span style="color: #222222;">Secretary of the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances, V. Srinivas said that the government has made massive developments in public administration to reach the last mile. Delivering a lecture on 'New Paradigms in Governance from 2019 to 2024', Mr. Srinivas informed that in the last five years, an all-pervasive push to adopt technology in public institutions has been made. Talking about the key initiatives to make grievance redressal of citizens easy, all the ninety ministries and departments have been onboarded on the Centralised Public Grievance Redress and Monitoring System Portal 7.0. He further added the department has introduced an Intelligent Grievance Monitoring System which uses artificial intelligence to better understand the issues of the citizens. &nbsp;</span><br />” <span style="color: #222222;"><br />” Mr. Srinivas said that in a bid to increase the E-governance landscape in the country, 164 mandatory e-services have been introduced. He said between 2019 and 2021, there has&nbsp;been a positive change in governance in many states. He further added several efforts to make the secretariat efficient have been taken including special campaign 3.0 to weed out scrap from offices, operationalization of the desk officer system, and digitisation of services. Mr. Srinivas also said that the Prime Minister Award for Excellence in Public Administration has been upscaled in the last five years to encourage district-level development.</span><br />
