India made it very clear that it is not restarting the composite dialogue with Pakistan and the upcoming Indo-Pak Foreign Secretary level talks will focus only on terror. The External Affairs Minister, Mr S M Krishna told a TV channel that talks are slated at the level of foreign secretary in order to carry forward the core issues as far as India is concerned about terror and terror driven activities emanating from Pakistan. These are exploratory talks. He said that the nation should not be under the mistaken inference that the composite dialogue is being renewed. He said the Composite dialogue has been suspended for very good reasons from Indian point of view and the issues which New Delhi raised remain to be addressed by Pakistan with a degree of seriousness.
