The second round of vote for Presidential election in France is underway and voters will choose between young centrist Emmanuel Macron and far-right leader Marine Le Pen in a watershed election for the country and Europe.<br/> <br/>Polling day follows an unprecedented campaign marked by scandal, repeated surprises and a last-minute hacking attack on Macron. Voting will end later today and the first estimate of the results will be published tonight.<br/>Citizens in some overseas territories and many French expats abroad have begun voting.<br/><br/>French nationals in Puducherry exercised their franchise at the second round of the presidential poll today. The Union Territory of Puducherry and regions coming under the purview of the French Consulate has an estimated 4,600 French voters. <br/><br/>The first round of polling was held on April 23. Voters from Mahe, Yanam and Karaikal also cast their vote in Puducherry as there are no polling stations in these enclaves. Puducherry was a former French colony. <br/><br/><br/><br/>
