French voters will decide today whether a pro-European Union centrist or an anti-European Union, anti-immigration far-rightist will lead them for the next five years. <br/><br/>The second round contest pits centrist Emmanuel Macron, a 39-year-old former investment banker, against the 48 year old far-right nationalist Marine Le Pen. <br/><br/>The two candidates, who topped a field of 11 presidential hopefuls in the first round election on April 23, have offered voters starkly different visions of France. <br/><br/>The run-off is being keenly watched across Europe, ahead of elections in Germany and the UK and as Britain negotiates its exit from the EU. Citizens in some overseas territories and many French expats abroad have begun voting.<br/><br/>French citizens of Puducherry are exercising their franchise in the Presidential elections. This is the second and final round of the election.
