Second Phase of inoculation of 1.5 lakh frontline workers in Jharkhand begins today

<span style="color: #222222;">In Jharkhand, the Second Phase of inoculation of 1.5 lakh frontline workers including policemen, paramilitary personnel and cleaning staff of municipal corporations registered via COWIN app under the COVID vaccination drive begins from today. Presently, 55 thousand 446 people have been administered with the Covishield vaccine in the state.<br />''<br />''Registering a sharp decline in the number of active COVID cases in the state and budgeting a high recovery rate of 98.68 per cent, the growth rate of COVID has reduced to 0.04 per cent in Jharkhand. Meanwhile, to assess herd immunity infection of COVID-19 among the infected people, a team from ICMR, Bhubhaneshwar will re-conduct Sero-Survey from February 4 -13 in 10 districts of the state. The Second Phase of the Sero-Survey was earlier conducted in the month of September 2020. The survey will focus areas of Ranchi, East Singhbhum, Bokaro, Dhanbad and Palamu districts to evaluate the infection rate among the population infected with Corona virus infection.</span><br />
