<span style="color: #000000;">In Bihar, the Second Phase of COVID-19 vaccination involving frontline workers began today. Over two lakh workers have so far registered for this round. Frontline workers are those under the ministry of home affairs &nbsp;including prisons and disaster management ,army ,central paramilitary force, ministry of housing and urban affairs and revenue and panchayati raj staff.<br />'' <br />'' Three lakh 53 thousand 458 health workers &nbsp;have been vaccinated in the state so far. In all, 40 thousand 950 health workers were vaccinated for COVID-19 during the past 24 hours. No side effect has been reported from any part of the state.<br />'' <br />'' COVID-19 recovery rate has improved to 99.08 per cent in Bihar which is 1.92 per cent more than national average. Two lakh 58 thousand 757 patients have so far recovered from the COVID-19 infection in the state. The number of active cases of COVID-19 is continuously declining. Currently, only 886 are receiving treatment at various hospitals.<br />'' <br />'' In all, 201 patients recovered in the last 24 hours, while 90 new COVID-cases were reported. No positive case was reported from 17 districts of the state.<br />'' <br />''Over two crore 13 lakh Corona tests have been conducted in the state so far.</span>
