The 2nd ODI of the five-match series between India and Sri Lanka has been shifted to Nagpur from Vishakhapatnam by the Indian Cricket Board, BCCI. The match is scheduled for Friday. The match venue was shifted after police in Visakhapatnam expressed inability to provide security for the match in the wake of political crisis in Andhra Pradesh. BCCI Secretary N Srinivasan said this in a statement on Monday. Early in the morning, Visakhapatnam Police Commissioner Sambhasiva Rao told the reporters that it will be difficult for them to provide the required security staff for the hosting of the match.Saurashtra Cricket Association which is hosting Tuesday's series-opener in Rajkot had also offered to host the match.
