Second India-Australia virtual Summit to be held on Monday to boost comprehensive strategic partnership; PM Modi, Australian PM Morrison to participate in Summit

<span style="color: #222222;">Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison will hold the second India-Australia virtual summit on 21st March. Briefing media in New Delhi this evening, External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said this Summit follows the historic first virtual summit which was held on 4th of June 2020 when the India-Australia bilateral relationship was elevated to a comprehensive strategic partnership.<br />'' <br />'' During this forthcoming virtual summit, the leaders will stock of progress made on various initiatives under the comprehensive strategic partnership. He said the virtual summit will lay the way forward on new initiatives and enhanced cooperation in a diverse range of sectors.<br />'' <br />''<br />''The leaders are expected to discuss views on regional and international issues. This Summit highlights the importance that both countries attach to their bilateral relations as well as their close cooperation in regional and international issues.</span><br />
