In Durban, the Second Cricket Test between India and South Africa is tantalisingly poised. The hosts need 192 runs more for a win, with seven second inning wickets in hand. Chasing a target of 303 runs, they were 111 for three when bad light brought an early end to the play. At stumps, Jacques Kallis on 12 and A B de Villiers on 17 were on the crease. Earlier, resuming their second innings at the overnight score 92 for four, India were all out for 228. V.V.S. Laxman's sparkling 96 and his vital 70-run partnership with Zaheer Khan for the eighth wicket was largely responsible for India gaining an overall lead of 302. Zaheer made 27.
