Finance Minister P. Chidambaram today laid before the Lok Sabha the second batch of Supplementary Demands for Grants in respect of the General Budget amounting to nearly eighteen thousand six hundred crore rupees.This includes net cash expenditure of over thirteen thousand crore rupees. He said this will not significantly widen the deficit projected in the budget estimates for the current financial year.The papers were laid in the Rajya Sabha by Minister of State for Finance, Namo Narain Meena.
