Seat-sharing: DMK allots two seats to Thirumavalavan's VCK

<span style="color: #222222;">DMK in Tamil Nadu has signed a seat-sharing deal with the Viduthalai Siruthaigal Katchi VCK, ahead of the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls. DMK President MK Stalin signed the agreement at the party headquarters Anna Arivalayam in Chennai with the Dalit outfit leader Thol Thirumavalavan this morning. The deal was reached at the end of the second round of talks between the two parties.<br />''<br />'' Mr Thirumavalavan said the party would decide to contest the two seats on DMK symbol, keeping in view the interests of the alliance.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The two Left parties and the Vaiko-led MDMK are also holding on seat-sharing talks with the DMK. The party leaders have expressed confidence that a deal would be reached at the earliest. <br />''<br />''The DMK has so far concluded seat-sharing talks with Congress, IUML and a Kongu regional outfit. Congress has been given ten seats in the state and neighbouring Puducherry to contest under the alliance.
