Search operation intensified to rescue three abducted WWF volunteers in Assam

In Assam, search operation has been intensified to find the three abducted WWF volunteers. Six WWF’s newly recruited volunteers were abducted by gunmen on Sunday from Ultapani forest range in Kokrajhar district under Manas National Park. Three female members were however, released unharmed on Tuesday at Chirang district of the state. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi yesterday said that members of anti-talk faction of banned outfit NDFB is responsible for the abduction. He also said that instruction has already been given to security forces to ensure safe release of the remaining 3 WWF members. The family members and WWF also appealed the abductors to release them soon.
