<br/>In Jharkhand, search is on for RJD candidate for the Jharkhand Assembly polls, Ram Chandra Singh. He along with an aide was abducted last night by suspected splinter group of CPI( Maoists) in Latehar district. Mr Singh was returning from a function on Thursday night when suspected Maoists intercepted his car and kidnapped him and six of his supporters in Taradih village.The abductors let off five of his supporters midway. Mr Singh and one party leader are still in the custody of Maoists.<br/>Police on Friday said that the Deputy Inspector General of Police Sashinath Jha and Superintendent of Police Kuldip Diwedi were overseeing the search operation.
