Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that sealing of the international border is one of the top priorities of the Centre. An official release issued in Guwahati said that it was conveyed by the Prime Minister to Assam Chief Minister Sarbanand Sonowal in New Delhi today.<br/><br/>Mr. Sonowal held a meeting with Mr. Modi on gamut of issues. The Chief Minister requested the Prime Minister to take step for complete sealing of the Indo- Bangladesh border expeditiously to stop influx. <br/><br/>Mr. Modi asserted that he would instruct the Home Ministry to take up the matter on war footing. Mr. Sonowal has also invited Mr. Modi to attend the inauguration of the Dhola-Sadiya Bridge in May and Global Investors Summit to be held in November in Assam.
