In Andaman and Nicobar islands, the adventurous sea walking facility was launched today. The island's Chief Secretary inaugurated the floating sea walking centre at North Bay near Port Blair this morning.For the first time in India, the adventurous tourists get an opportunity to enjoy the pleasure of sea walking on soft sand and play with the colourful fishes along side beautiful corals in the crystal clear waters of Andaman sea. The sea walking is quite easy and adventurous and almost similar to space walking. Any one without any special training or swimming skills can go for it, just by wearing the sea walker helmet provided with uninterrupted oxygen supply.At present, sea walking facilities are available only in the handful of tropical countries like Australia, Bali and Mauritius. It is expected that Andamans attract more high end adventurous tourists to have this unique experience in the pristine underwater world here.
