Scrutiny of nominations will be held today in 64 Lok Sabha constituencies spread in seven states and 175 Assembly Constituencies of Andhra Pradesh which will go to polls on 7th May in phase eight.

Wednesday will be the last day for withdrawal of nominations in these constituencies.

The states where elections are set to be conducted in this phase are Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Bengal. One Seventy Five Assembly Constituencies of Andhra Pradesh will also go to polls in this phase.

Meanwhile, filing of nominations is on in 41 Lok Sabha constituencies spread in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengalwhere elections are scheduled to be conducted in ninth and last phase of elections on 12th May.
