Scrutiny of nominations has completed for Nagaland and Meghalaya assembly polls while campaigning in Tripura has gained momentum.<br/><br/>In Nagaland, out of 256 candidates filed papers against 60 Assembly Constituencies, 227 candidates were found valid, 29 invalid, while scrutiny of one candidate under Suruhoto Assembly Constituency is adjourned to tomorrow. <br/><br/>This was informed by State Additional Chief Electoral Officer, N. Moa Aier. <br/>In Meghalaya, 442 nomination papers have been found valid after scrutiny yesterday. <br/><br/>Chief Electoral Officer, F R Kharkongor said nomination of one candidate for Mahendraganj seat has been rejected. The candidate belongs to North East India Development Party. The last day for withdrawal of nominations is 12th of this month. <br/><br/>Polling for the 60-member assembly will be held on the 27th of this month.<br/>Meanwhile, In Tripura, the election fever is gradually reaching the peak. <br/><br/>The campaigning will be taken up in full swing by the candidates of all major political parties. The voting will be held on 18th of this month and counting will take place on 3rd March. <br/><br/>
