In Goa, scrutiny of nomination papers for 40 assembly constituencies, for polls slated on March 3, began Tuesday morning. The 16th of this month will be the last date for withdrawal.Highest number of 18 candidates have filed their nominations from Vasco da Gama whereas the least number of only three candidates have filed their nominations from Poriem assembly constituency.Congress has fielded 33, BJP 30,TMC 22 and NCP 7 candidates.
