In Andhra Pradesh, the South-Central Railway has restored all the train services as the Telangana Joint Action Committee, JAC called off the two day old Rail Roko agitation on the third day today.However, the JAC called for Telangana Bandh today protesting against arrests of its leaders in the last two days during the Rail Roko agitation.Following this, the security has been stepped up throughout the region and additional security forces have been deployed at all important and sensitive places in the region.The police arrested 944 persons including several legislators and leaders in specific cases on the second day of Rail Roko agitation yesterday.Cases were registered under Railway Act against Telangana Rastra Samithi President and Lok Sabha Member K Chandra Sekhar Rao and Telangana JAC Chairman Professor Kodanda Ram for provoking people for Rail Roko agitation.
