Normal life remains disrupted in Uttar Pradesh due to scorching heat. With one person dying in Allahabad, the death toll due to heat wave has risen to 12 this month. According to met office the temperature in most of the places is still 2 to 5 degrees above normal. <br/> <br/>Varanasi continues to be the hottest place of the state where the maximum temperature was recorded at 44.7 degrees Celsius. Allahabad recorded 41.8, Agra 41.6, Bareilly 40.4 and Gorakhpur 41.3. The met office has predicted dry weather and hot conditions to prevail for next 48 hours.<br/>
