Researchers seeking a new treatment for drug resistant forms of malaria say, they have developed a drug which has cured the disease in mice with a single dose. The findings by an international team of researchers have been publilshed in a Science journal. Tests on humans could begin by the end of this year. Malaria kills an estimated one million people a year across the world, most of them in Africa.
