With steady improvement in the pandemic situation in Maharashtra, schools in some districts of the state have reopened from today.<br />''<br />'' Schools under municipal limits of Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad and Palghar have resumed classes for students from 9th standard to 12 standard, adhering to the SOP issued by the government.<br />'' <br />''AIR correspondent reports, classes from 9-12 have resumed in the schools in Nashik, Aurangabad, Pune and Palghar this morning. Students have been asked to attend classes adhering to the SOP issued by the government. The duration of the school would be for three hours where for the time being only three subjects including English, Maths and Science will be taught in the classroom, while the remaining subjects will be taught online.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">According to a directive issued by the administration, teachers will have to mandatorily undergo RTPCR tests before resuming duties. However, any teacher who had undergone the test in recent past would be exempted from the same. Meanwhile, in Mumbai only three persons succumbed to the infection which is the lowest since the outbreak of the pandemic in March 2020.</span><br />
