<span style="color: #222222;">In Himachal Pradesh, regular classes have started in schools for the students of class VIII to XII from today. Class VIII students arrived at the school almost a year and a half after the outbreak of the corona pandemic. There will be no prayer meetings and sports activities.<br />'' <br />'' The education department of the state has decided not to provide mid-day meals to the children of class VIII. The Department of Elementary Education has issued instructions that children will have to bring their own lunch.<br />'' <br />'' The decision has been taken by the Himachal Pradesh Government after taking into consideration the COVID-19 situation in the state and the positivity rate. To ensure staggering of students and to follow all the SOPs and Covid-19 guidelines, all the principals and headmasters are authorized to implement the micro plan already prepared for their respective school, as per availability of the accommodation.<br />'' <br />'' It may be recalled that Schools have already resumed physical classes in the state for classes 9 to 12 from September 27, 2021.</span>
