The SC will on deliver the verdict today on Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy's petition challenging trial court's order rejecting his plea to order a probe against finance minister P Chidambaram in the 2G scam.A bench headed by Justice GS Singhvi is also expected to pass order on NGO Centre for Public Interest and Litigation's (CPIL) plea to order further investigation in the case. CPIL, on whose petition SC had ordered CBI probe into the 2G scam, too wants CBI to investigate Chidambaram's role in the case.
